Pinot Noir













Originally from the Burgundy region, France. It adapts in temperate zones, clay soils and with a high amount of calcium (calcareous). The Pinot Noir along with the Chardonnay are the grapes that are used to produce the champagne. In France there are three locations that specialize in its manufacture Cote Chalonnaise, Cote Nuits and Cote Beaune. The red wines of the Alsace region have little tannins and are excellent to accompany with white meats including fish.

Styles: fresh, intense, elegant fruit

Aromas: strawberry, raspberry, coffee, blackberries

Flavors: vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, spices

Color: ruby, ruby with orange reflections


Excellent for light snacks, salmon, pork, tabbouleh, couscous
